Los proveedores de componentes del iPad de Apple se están preparando para una nueva ronda de producción en el primer trimestre, han explicado fuentes de las empresas. Una de las compañías ha asegurado que el producto incluirá dos cámaras (Delantera y trasera).
La empresa de pantallas táctiles con chips Wintek Corp, el fabricante de baterías Simplo Technology y un fabricante de fundas para productos electrónicos, son algunos de los proveedores que ya trabajan en la nueva versión de iPad.
Varias de estas compañías han asegurado que han tenido una aceleración en la producción de sus componentes. El aumento se debe a la preparación de Apple de su iPad 2. Una de las compañías ha revelado que el nuevo modelo de iPad cuentan con una cámara en la parte delantera y otra en la trasera, mientras que otra de las compañías ha dicho que el nuevo modelo será más delgado, más ligero y tiene una pantalla de mejor resolución. El módulo de las cámaras han sido encargados al genio electrónico Optical Co y a Largan Precision Co.
“Tiene sentido que los proveedores empiecen la entrega de sus productos en febrero. Creo que Steve Jobs, anunciará el nuevo producto en enero, y deberíamos ver el nuevo producto en las tiendas por abril” ha declarado el analista de RBS Steven Tseng.
Ninguna de las personas familiarizadas con la cadena de suministro de componentes para el dispositivo de Apple no han querido ser identificadas. Las filtraciones provienen de personal que no está autorizado a hablar con los medios de comunicación sobre el tema por la obsesión de Apple por mantener el secreto.

El iPad se espera que constituya alrededor del 70 por ciento de los 60 millones de Tablet PC que serán vendidos en el 2011, según estimaciones de la empresa Sinopac.
Se espera que Apple consiga los 12,9 millones de unidades de su primer iPads este año, aumentando los envíos a 36,5 millones en el 2011. La firma de investigación iSuppli ha explicado que los datos reflejan una participación del 84 por ciento del mercado de tablet PC perteneciente a Apple.
Otras marcas tecnológicas como Dell, Acer o RIM, también se han subido al carro de Tablet PC, dando a conocer sus propias versiones del dispositivo móvil.
“Las ventas del iPad seguirá bien el año que viene, pero creo que los modelos con sistema Android de Google pueden tener la ventaja a largo plazo, al igual que lo que está pasando ahora con los teléfonos inteligentes” ha explicado Steven Tseng.
Con la salida del nuevo iPad 2 las acciones de la compañía y sus proveedores también pueden verse afectadas. “La inversión en acciones de Apple va a ser un tema importante para la mayoría del año que viene” ha explicado uno de los administradores de Prudential Invest, Bevan Yeh, responsable de administrar parte de las acciones de la compañía.
“Apple sigue siendo el principal impulsor de los productos de máxima tecnología, y esto ayudará a impulsar las ganancias de sus proveedores aún más en 2011″ ha explicado Bevan Yeh.
