Apple ha desvelado hoy un iPod nano completamente rediseñado, que incorpora la interfaz Multi-Touch de Apple para que los usuarios exploren su colección musical solo con tocar o pasar el dedo por la pantalla.
El nuevo iPod nano, que mide y pesa prácticamente la mitad que el de la generación anterior, presenta una carcasa de vidrio y aluminio pulido con una pinza integrada que permite ponérselo directamente. El nuevo iPod nano incluye también Mezclas Genius, la posibilidad de crear y editar listas de reproducción, radio FM integrada con Pausa en Directo y hasta 24 horas de reproducción musical con una sola carga.
«Esta es la mayor reinvención del iPod nano desde su aparición en 2005, y pensamos que a los usuarios les va a encantar», ha afirmado Steve Jobs, consejero delegado de Apple. «Sustituir la Rueda de Clic con nuestra interfaz Multi-Touch nos ha permitido comprimir el iPod nano en un diseño increíblemente delgado, comodísimo de llevar gracias a su pinza integrada».
El nuevo iPod nano con la interfaz Multi-Touch de Apple permite a los usuarios acceder a sus canciones, artistas, álbumes y listas de reproducción con un toque o pasando el dedo por la pantalla. Para volver a la pantalla de inicio, basta con mantener la pantalla pulsada, y los usuarios pueden usar dos dedos para girar la pantalla si tienen el dispositivo prendido a su ropa boca abajo. Asimismo, pueden personalizar su pantalla de inicio con solo arrastrar los iconos desde otras pantallas.
Los amantes de la música agradecerán la prestación Shake to Shuffle, que permite agitar el iPod nano para pasar a otra canción de la biblioteca musical. Además, con la radio FM integrada podrán escuchar sus emisoras de radio favoritas, así como pausar y reanudar la reproducción de sus programas de radio preferidos sin perderse un segundo gracias a Pausa en Directo.
