Ejemplos en el mundo de las consolas son Playstation y Xbox 360, que cuentan con estudiados logros y trofeos que se conceden a los usuarios. Esto aumenta la vida útil del juego y potencia la competitividad e interacción entre los usuarios.
Los móviles no son una excepción y menos el de Apple, el más emergente como plataforma de videojuegos. Algunas compañías ya han inaugurado sus propias plataformas de puntuación, como Openfeint y Crystal.
Pero Apple no se quiere quedar fuera de este juego y pretende crear una plataforma que pueda estar incluida en todos los juegos de todas las compañías: Game Center.
Según 9to5Mac, Apple ya ha puesta a disposición de los desarrolladores de aplicaciones y juegos para iOS las herramientas necesarias para incluir acceso a Game Center en sus creaciones.
Aunque llega bastante tarde, Game Center tiene todas las papeletas de convertirse en la plataforma más popular de este tipo en los dispositivos de la compañía de la manzana.
