MyType realizó encuestas vía Facebook entre marzo y mayo a 20.000 usuarios de Facebook.
Gracias a las respuestas obtenidas elaboró un perfil del usuario del iPad definiéndolos como “ricos, bien educados y sofisticados. Gente que valora el poder y los logros mucho más que otros segmentos de la población”.
Otro dato relevante es que los poseedores de un iPad o tienen hijos o manifestaron su intención de tenerlos en un futuro.
Sin embargo, estos mismos usuarios fueron catalogados como egoístas ya que su predisposición hacía el altruismo es inferior a otros usuarios.
Intereses
Aunque el iPad es un gadget ideal para disfrutar de libros, música, arte e internet… la mayoría de los encuestados manifestaron poco interés a este tema y mucho más a todos aquellos relacionados con los negocios y finanzas.
Además señalaron que entre los siete pecados capitales más fáciles de caer se encontraban la lujuria y la codicia.
En cuanto a perfiles demográficos, fueron los asiáticos los más conocedores de la existencia del gadget de Apple mientras que los caucásicos era mayoría quienes lo desconocían.
