Una investigación realizada por la empresa de seguridad Lookout reveló el peligro que supone para la privacidad muchas aplicaciones que los usuarios pueden descargar gratuitamente en la App Store.
Las conclusiones del estudio fueron divulgadas durante el evento Black Hat celebrado en Las Vegas.
Durante su intervención, el experto en seguridad destacó que un 14% de las aplicaciones gratuitas para el iPhone permiten acceder a los datos de los contactos almacenados en el terminal.
Asimismo un 33% consiguen acceder a la geolocalización del usuario, algo sumamente peligroso en manos de delincuentes.
Además, un 23% de las aplicaciones incluyen códigos de terceros como anuncios Adsense o sistemas de monitorización de usuarios como Analytics de Google.

Extraordinary this post is totaly unrelated to what I was looking out google for, nevertheless it was once indexed on the first page. I assume your doing one thing right if Google likes you enough to place you on the first web page of a non related search.
Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
