Motorola publicó hoy una página completa de publicidad en The New York Times para burlarse de los problemas de recepción del iPhone 4, la última creación de Apple.
“No necesitamos ponernos traje”, afirmaba Motorola a propósito de su Droid X, su nuevo aparato presentado la víspera de la salida del iPhone 4.
El eslogan hace referencia a un problema de recepción de la señal telefónica observada por numerosos usuarios del iPhone 4, que finalmente llevaron a Apple a ofrecer estuches gratuitos para aislar el borde metálico del aparato donde se encuentra la antena.
“En Motorola pensamos que el cliente no debe tener necesidad de vestir su teléfono para que marche correctamente”, se leía en la publicidad.
“Por eso el Droid X fue concebido con una segunda antena. La clase que le permite tener el teléfono como usted quiera para hacer llamados de una claridad límpida sin estuche molesto”, agregaba.
Es raro que Apple sea últimamente el objeto de burlas, ya que el fabricante californiano es conocido sobre todo por sus publicidades televisadas de una ironía impiadosa hacia los sistemas de ordenadores Windows, supuestamente menos “modernos” que los suyos.
En lo que respecta a Motorola, está en plena fase de relanzamiento con sus teléfonos que funcionan con el sistema Android desarrollado por Google, considerado uno de los mejores competidores del sistema Apple.
Previo a Motorola, Microsoft, Nokia y Samsung ya habían aprovechado el fracaso de iPhone para burlarse de él, llegando incluso a compararlo con el Windows Vista.
