Los problemas de antena que presenta el iPhone 4 reconocidos por el propio Steve Jobs, presidente de Apple, no parecen haber cambiado los planes de comercialización del teléfono de las operadoras españolas, según fuentes consultadas por ‘Portaltic’.
Si bien las operadoras aún no han anunciado nada respecto a la fecha de lanzamiento y sólo se conocen al respecto las declaraciones de Jobs hechas el pasado viernes — confirmó los planes de la compañía de hacer llegar el teléfono a 17 países (entre ellos España) el 30 de julio –, las compañías no parecen haber cambiado sus planes tras la polémica generada en torno a los fallos del teléfono.
El viernes de la semana pasada, el presidente de la compañía de la manzana reconoció el problema de antena que se produce en el smartphone al sostenerlo en la mano, sin embargo, no le dio mayor importancia al asegurar que “los problemas de recepción del iPhone 4 no son culpa de Apple”, ya que “pasó con todos los móviles que hemos probado porque así son los smartphones”.
El directivo añadió también que no es un problema exclusivo de Apple, sino que se encuentra también en los aparatos Blackberry y Droid, de sus rivales Research in Motion y HTC; lo que provocó la respuesta inmediata de los aludidos, que replicaron argumentando que Apple está intentando desviar la atención hacia la competencia.
Respecto a las operadoras españolas que comercializarán el iPhone 4 en España, Vodafone y Movistar no han querido hacer ningún comentario al respecto y han recordado que aún no han anunciado nada sobre este lanzamiento. Orange, por su parte, aseguró que sus planes de comercialización del iPhone 4 “no han cambiado”.
