El iPhone 4 estará disponible en EEUU, Francia, Alemania, Japón y Reino Unido el 24 de junio, y los clientes de esos países pueden a partir del martes, 15 de junio, realizar el pedido anticipado de su iPhone 4 en la Apple Online Store o pueden reservar su iPhone 4 para recogerlo en una Apple Retail Store
Una seguna ronda de lanzamiento tendrá lugar a finales de julio (fecha aún por concretar). Entonces llegará a Australia, Austria, Bélgica, Canadá, Corea del Sur, Dinamarca, España, Finlandia, Holanda, Hong Kong, Irlanda, Italia, Luxemburgo, Noruega, Nueva Zelanda, Singapur, Suecia y Suiza.
A finales de septiembre está prevista también otra ronda de lanzamientos hasta completar los 88 países en los que Apple ha previsto que esté disponible el iPhone 4 para el 2010.
