Con una gran expectación llega hoy a las tiendas españolas el iPad, el nuevo “juguete” electrónico creado por Apple.
En su primer mes en el mercado las ventas del iPad fueron de un millón de unidades, solamente en los EEUU. Ahora llega a un buen número de países, entre ellos España, con el objetivo de repetir ese éxito que ha conseguido en los EEUU.
El iPad puede comprarse a través de la tienda online de Apple, los distribuidores oficiales y El Corte Inglés, FNAC, PC City y MediaMarkt.
En España, los precios recomendados oscilan entre los 479 y 779 euros.
Los modelos con wi-fi costarán entre 479 y 679 euros, mientras que los equipados con wi-fi y 3G saldrán a un precio de entre 579 y 779 euros.
Apple no ha revelado las cantidades que estarán disponibles para el mercado español, sin embargo, en los últimos días aquellos que lo reservaron online en los últimos días han sido avisados que deberán esperar hasta mediados de junio para recibir el tablet.
Según un estudio reciente de IAB, en España podrían venderse unos 100.000 iPads durante sus primeras semanas en el mercado.
Tarifas internet móvil
Ante la llegada del nuevo producto, las tres principales operadoras ya tienen listas sus tarifas de datos, entre las que podrán elegir los usuarios.
Vodafone ofrece dos tarifas planas, sin compromiso de permanencia, de 15 euros y 32 euros al mes.
Movistar cuenta con tres tarifas planas de datos y dos modalidades de prepago, mientras que a los usuarios que ya tienen contratadas tarifas de datos para sus móviles, de 25 o 39 euros al mes, les facilitará la conexión desde el iPad sin coste adicional.
Por su parte, Orange ofrecerá dos tarifas -una diaria de 3,5 euros y una mensual de 35 euros-, ambas bajo la modalidad de prepago y sin compromiso de permanencia.

Con un tamaño algo más grande que el iPhone, el iPad permite navegar por Internet, leer periódicos y libros electrónicos, utilizar cuentas de email, ver fotos y películas en alta definición y escuchar música, entre otras funciones típicas de un ordenador personal. Además es compatible con casi todas las aplicaciones desarrolladas para el iPhone/iPod Touch, además de aquellas Apps creadas especialmente para el dispositivo.
El iPad es también una excelente consola portátil y existen ya centenares de juegos creados para este nuevo dispositivo

Junto a España, hoy el iPad estará disponible en Alemania, Australia, Canadá, Francia, Italia, Japón, Suiza y Reino Unido.
