TomTom ha anunciado que la última aplicación de TomTom para iPhone y iPod touch (versión 1.2) puede adquirirse en Apple Store desde hoy mismo. La nueva versión de software estará disponible gratuitamente para los usuarios de la aplicación de TomTom.
Esta nueva versión, también disponible para iPod touch, incluye características avanzadas adicionales que los seguidores de TomTom de todo el mundo ya pueden disfrutar:
- Indicación de carriles en carretera que da a los conductores gran claridad cuando estén navegando por cruces complicados. Por primera vez esta opción estará disponible en modo de pantalla ancha y en modo retrato.
- Tecnología texto a voz que ayuda en especial a los motoristas a que mantengan la vista en la carretera al permitir que los nombres de las calles y otros lugares sean leídos como parte de las instrucciones de voz.
– “Ayuda en carretera” que ofrece acceso directo a números de emergencia e instrucciones para acudir a los lugares de emergencia más cercanos.
- Actualización de mapas y radares .
- Posibilidad de personalizar las alertas al acercarse a radares o cuando se conduce por encima de los límites permitidos, mejorando la seguridad en la conducción y permitiendo ahorrar dinero.
- Control del reproductor iPod para que los conductores accedan a su música desde la propia aplicación.
- Compatibilidad con iPod touch y el iPhone original
