Durante años, las relaciones entre Apple y Adobe han sido estupendas. Los usuarios de Mac siempre han disfrutado en primicia de las aplicaciones gráficas y fotográficas de Adobe y según expertos, estas superan en rendimiento a las que uno puede disfrutar en un PC.
Pero llegó el iPod y Apple empezó a poner trabas en esta estupenda relación.
Apple no deseaba instalar en el terminal una herramienta que pudiera canibalizar iTunes ni la App Store, potenciando sus herramientas propias y evitando aquellas que pudierán suponer un peligro para el “ecosistema” montado entre el reproductor/terminal móvil y la descarga de contenidos.
Flash para el iPhone y el iPod está totalmente desarrollado y funciona perfectamente pero no será lanzado al mercado hasta que Apple rectifique en su actitud, afirma Adobe.
La propia compañía asegura que “Apple restringe el uso de tecnologías requeridas por productos como Flash Player. Hasta que Apple elimine estas restricciones, Adobe no puede ofrecer Flash Player para el iPhone o iPod Touch”.
