Canon lanza la aplicación ‘Easy-PhotoPrint for iPhone” (Canon iEPP) que permite imprimir fotos desde el iPhone o el iPod, de forma inalámbrica con conexión a una impresora PIXMA y que se descarga gratuitamente desde iTunes App Store.
La aplicación es compatible con los dispositivos iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS y iPod touch, obteniendo las imágenes en tres pasos: de la puesta en funcionamiento de la aplicación a la selección de imagen e impresión. Una vez instalada la aplicación desde iTunes App Store, detecta automáticamente las impresoras conectadas con Wi-Fi.
También es posible imprimir fotos desde álbumes compartidos en web o realizadas con el iPhone. La nueva aplicación de Canon, iEPP incorpora un botón de cámara, de modo que pueden realizarse e imprimirse nuevas fotos, admite varios tamaños y tipo de papel y tiene la opción de imprimir con o sin márgenes.
