Sumándose a las otras dos operadoras móviles, Entel PCS anunció hoy que también comercializará el popular celular de Apple en Chile.
“Entel PCS y Apple han llegado a un acuerdo para comercializar iPhone en Chile. iPhone 3G y iPhone 3GS, el más rápido y poderoso iPhone hasta ahora, estarán disponibles para los clientes de Entel PCS en los próximos meses”, explicó la empresa en un escueto comunicado.
Movistar y Claro ya ofrecen el iPhone desde hace más de un año, cuando trajeron por primera vez el modelo 3G a Chile de forma oficial. A fines de agosto, empezaron a comercializar también el nuevo modelo, el 3G S.
Entel no habló de fechas ni valores. En un sitio especialmente dedicado al dispositivo, se lanza una introducción dirigida a “todos los que hicieron grupos en Facebook, y todos los que llamaban todos los días”, haciendo alusión al gran interés que había de parte de los clientes de Entel PCS por que la empresa comercializara el teléfono. En el sitio, los usuarios pueden inscribir sus datos para recibir más información, sin detallar nada más.
