En Francia preocupan los teléfonos portátiles de última generación iPhones después de que al parecer se registraran ya 11 casos en los que sus pantallas estallaron sin razón aparente.
En uno de los casos, un hombre de 80 años dijo que la pantalla de su iPhone recién comprado explotó sin causa aparente. “Lo saqué de mi bolsillo y lo sostuve cerca de mi oreja. Y entonces vi como la pantalla se rompía, como el parabrisas de un coche” explicó Rolland Caufman, según consigna el diario El Mundo.
En otro caso, un guardia de seguridad dijo que la pantalla de su iPhone se trizó, lo que provocó que un cristal lo golpeara en el ojo.
Uno de los casos más comentados, fue el de una niña inglesa cuyo iPod Touch explotó por completo, después de lo cual Apple habría contactado a su familia para procurar su silencio.
Hasta el momento no se ha confirmado si se trata realmente de un fallo del teléfono móvil.
Tanto la Comisión Europea como la oficina de protección al consumidor francesa han pedido al fabricante Apple que aclare las acusaciones.
La empresa indicó la semana pasada en un informe a la Comisión Europea, que se trata de casos aislados y se pronunciará cuando haya investigado los aparatos en cuestión.
